Mitsubishi having a sales push here in the UK which you may find interesting.

Owned S type Jaguar for 10 years and now on my second Mitsubishi, having recently replace my ASX ZC-M-DI--D with a Eclipse Cross 3 4x2. Atlantic Grey.

Do you have to wait for these vehicles to get released from rehab? They all seem to be on PCP.

No you can buy a brand new car straight from the Dealership. The PCP facility is proving to be quite popular to a lot of people as an alternative to HP, as it also avoids a large cash outlay. It is also an alternative in some cases to having a company supplied car, which can have Benefit in Kind, Tax implications.
However, many people still buy a new car outright, using their current car in a part exchange type deal, or just a straight outright purchase, which usually attracts a good discount off the retail purchase price.
Many PCP cars do find their way into the secondhand market, as many people do not take up the option to buy at the end of the PCP agreement time scale.
My own car was a Mitsubishi UK management car, which was disposed of through the dealer network at an attractive price.

Lunaric59 must be regional... I was dying laughing reading this. It's all fun and games until your EC is coming down from PCP... the crash isn't pretty.

I guess it must be. In the U.S. PCP is an illegal drug usually referred to as "angel dust". It reminds me of when Chevy tried to release the Nova in South America without realizing that "no va" in Spanish literally means "doesn't go".

Ah ah did not appreciate what you were getting at, as I did not realise the drug connection.

There are only so many letters in the alphabet. Acronyms are bound to suffer a bit of double entendre now and then.

FWIW, in the U.S. there seems to be a few very nice sales incentives going on, too. The person at my office who just bought the EC last week got $5k off the sticker price. When I bought mine, i took a 0% financing deal ... nothing like free money.
