Hi to all,
I've been contributing for the last couple of weeks since I took delivery of my Eclipse Cross Exceed here in NSW Australia. I thought I'd better finally make an introduction post. I am a long time Mitsubishi owner and replaced my MY16 Pajero/Montero/Shogun (depending on your market) with the Eclipse Cross. Coming from a diesel with a much higher weight and a different design ethos the EC is quite a good drive. My partner has a Subaru XV/Crosstrek and I always found driving that after the Pajero to be quite a change. The 4X4 was intended to tow a caravan but that never happened and we decided to trade the Pajero for something smaller. As a previous Outlander owner I wasn't prepared to step back into that size vehicle again and to get the diesel you have to take the 7 seater here in Oz and that didn't appeal.
Anyway, I have had the EC for just short of four weeks now and have added my desired touches (see the attached pic) to the trim and fittings to a point where I am happy with the looks. I am a driver who prefers a bit of bright work on the outside and the EC did lack that but I've added enough to make me happy.
When I first posted here many noted this site was dead but I make the observation that a user forum only suffers for lack of input from the forum members. I've tried, and will continue to try, to keep my end of the forum bargain and contribute. I hope to chat with you all over the coming weeks and months. Cheers for now...
