Well, my wife ran over a muffler in the road on the NYS Thruway last week...
The shield that you have to take down to access the oil filter is broken in half, and both plastic retainer gizmos are gone. The only thing holding it in are the two bolts in the front.
There is also a small plastic shield back at the fuel tank that protects the fuel lines where they all bend around at the bottom of the tank and go along the frame to make their trip up to the engine that is mangled.
Can't find the actual names of either of these parts. I found a picture of the one that is removed to gain access to the oil filter (Air Inlet Shield 5370B754?), but I can't find any information on the one that covers the fuel lines at the right rear side of the fuel tank, so I have no idea what to call it in an attempt to order one from the dealer...
Anyone know what that little shield is called?
