Hi guys,
I have a 2019 eclipse cross and need brake pads and rotors. The guy at BF Goodrich told me that they need to come from the dealership. When I go to advanced auto and put in my car type and all, the pads come up. So I asked the BFG guy whats the issue and he said that the actual shape of the pad is a little different and so it needs to come from a dealership. Aum.......this car has been out for 3 years so by now they definitely (at least should) have aftermarket brake pads and rotors. The BFG guy is definitely pulling my chain, right?

Absolutely, Rock Auto shows at least a 1/2 dozen of different front pads available.

If you have the electric parking brake, that's might be true. You need to remove the pads to compare what available on the store.
If there is hand parking brake... well, the same suggestions )
