When I have the phone plugged into apple play and I talk text- I can no longer use my steering wheel to change the radio station. I have to go to the Media screen. If I’m already in the media screen I have to go out and back in. This is ESPECIALLY annoying when I’m using the map as I have to go to media and back to the map every single time I talk text. Is this a glitch in my car or do others have this issue?

Checked on my Eclipse Cross PHEV MY2022 with Android Auto (sorry, not a fan of 🍎)
Works perfect
When screen is showing maps
Pressing the ◀ or ▶ buttons, cycles radio / media
Pressing Volume 🔼 & 🔽 buttons also work
I could send a TXT (SMS) by pressing the TALK button
What firmware is your 🚘 running❓ Mine is on
MCU 0.2231.P002 @ SoC ver. 0.2231.P007
Mine is MCU 0.0220.P000 and SoC version 0.0220.P001. I don’t know how to update it tho

You'll have to get a dealer to do that for you.

In the U.S. you have to stomp your feet and hold your breath for a dealer to even acknowledge that a firmware update is available, let alone do it.
