Hi @RRM300 and welcome to the forums.

Looking at the parts diagram they list as a 15W speaker and they also have a mounting screw which is also listed on the left of the pic below (item above the speaker entry). The speaker part number is highlighted in the list. The web site has no price though so you'd need to enquire with the dealer spare parts counter on that and the screws.

You might find a set of these at your local auto wreckers/salvage yard at a much cheaper price and with the screws included. Also check the web for the parts in Australia and they can be shipped by any wrecker.

You would need to do a speaker check once installed to ensure they are seen by the audio system. Speaker check is accessed from the hidden service menu on the main screen of the Smart Display.

How do we get in hidden service menu ?
Before continuing I will stress that this menu has information that may harm your vehicle and its operation if you update some of these settings. Be it on your own head if you change something that causes an issue with your vehicle. A trip to a dealer may well be the only remedy. Having said that the speaker test is the only option in this menu I would even consider fiddling with. Be aware and resist the urge to play around...

To connect the speakers is straight forward as the tweeters up front are connected directly to front speakers...however there's some sort of heavy bass resistor/coil ...which you can get at any audio shop...
Best advice is to make an template of tweeter mounting holes and physical check for a fitting speaker. As oem may likely be way more expensive but not necessarily better.
Zarb's thank you again for you help. I will not mess around with the settings

WillisJamaica I was looking for oem but i seems hard to find. I will need that Resistor for aftermarket speaker ? . The best speaker i could find that shows the resistor was Ali express(photo Below), but I won't be buying it there as I don't l know the quality. I was looking at 2inch tweeters i might test out unsure if i need that resistor.

If I'm able to do guys I'll do a video on it to show everyone

I am assuming pic is oem... the resister in on it....so for sure you have to add a resistor it the tweeter u get doesn't with one.
As expected mitsubishi make it mounting holes in uncommon position... hence you have to modify mounting method of aftermarket speakers
Guys. I just checked my front tweeters. Mounting points are the same as the pic above but the speaker does NOT have a resistor on either of the speaker frames. Wires connect directly to the speaker poles. This may be a speaker for the Rockford Fosgate premium system. I can’t get the speakers out to get a pic as the front mounting screw in inaccessible against the windscreen glass. Obviously all were installed in the dash before it was fitted to the vehicle.
Great :) .... its not impossible to access dash speaker but may be difficult if u dnt hve correct tools..... try to get right angle tool or short version to install...manuafactory not going to make it impossible to replace.

I appreciate that you looked in your dash . There some spare parts in the USA . I’m gonna see if they can send me a photo . It would be good to know . I’m gonna open it again and see if the wire goes directly to the radio .

see if the wire goes directly to the radio
I would say yes. It will be a standard wiring harness installed in all EC's and would save money, given the small amount of extra cable, to have one standard harness. You'll need to remove the SDA display unit to get at the rear of the audio unit which is attached behind however the plugs on the rear are multipoint plugs so may be hard to find the exact wire pairs for the particular speaker. It will be in either C-111 or C-114 as per the pic below.

The Rockford-Fosgate system specs (from the Tech Info manual) show 25W tweeters, as opposed to the standard 15W tweeters, so the pic you posted above may well be for these tweeters with an added resistor.

Hey guys After a lot of digging and with your guy's help. I was able to find a wrecked Mitsubhi cross Sports edition which had tweeters for $40. It was to good of a deal so I brought them.
Now, these things are not beautiful lol but actually really made a huge differenceTweeters to the sound in the car.

Mitsubishi Already has the wire pre-ready so all you have to do is install the speaker in there.

Now I found the Capacitor it says VENT -40C + 85C

I also brought these its hard to find a hardness for the tweeter so you don't have to cut them. I'm unsure if they work but after talking to so many audio shops one guy actually said this one might work . Those of you that what to update your speaker with aftermarket ones this is just more info for you guys. I might test them out in the future but I time I pretty happy with the stock for now.Tweeters Harness
