We have an issue with our folding mirrors . In winter we set them to stay stationary to avoid any issues with freezing , but after a few days the mirrors just started folding in on their own when we would shut the vehicle off. So we reset the settings again and sometimes it would stay set for a few days or a few weeks but would again start folding again on their own. Had dealership check vehicle twice for the issue but they could find nothing wrong.

Strange, may be there is a fault in the wiring somewhere, which would be very difficult to find, or a fault in the programming system. As long as they stay in place when driving, possibly best to leave well alone. Or do they actually fold in when driving.

I'm thinking it's a software issue as they fold in when they are supposed to if set to do so when you shut off the vehicle and do not just randomly fold in and out . My local Mitsubishi dealer run a pretty bare bones operation . Coming from Toyota ownership the Mitsubishi customer service experience is dissappointing.

Fortunately the dealership I have seem to be very good here in the UK. Hope your Dealer can help you find the solution to the problem.
Otherwise approach Mitsubishi direct and tell them of your experience and that their chosen Agent is letting the side down.
