my brother cracked off the outer black plastic side mirror trim on my mom's EC while backing out of a parking spot (brushed against telephone pole).

all mirror functions work (folding, movement, around-view camera), but entire mirror must be replaced ... $760!

hoping a junk yard may have one ...

Ouch! At that price I'd be tempted to see if I could get some Duct Tape with a good colour match.

You might have some luck sourcing them from a junk yard for cheaper.
