Beeping noise while accelerating

Has anyone else heard a beeping noise if they accelerate hard. The beeping starts at 4000-5000 rpm and sounds like a computer controlling the “gear” ratio. I say “gear” because it has a CVT. Any advice on why I’m hearing this noise is greatly appreciated. Beep sounds like it’s coming from the OBD/fuse box area to the lower left of the steering column.

I haven't got mine much past 4K, but this car redlines at 6K so maybe it's some kind of warning? Were you using the manual shift or was it in auto?

Happens in both manual or as I call it the slap stick. And auto

I got an OBD scanner and was testing accel times, torque, boost psi, etc... never noticed the sound before. And I’ve redlined the small engine before getting up to highway speeds to merge
I punched it on the drive in this morning to merge onto the highway and got her up to 5k. No beeping. Since you've got a scanner, are there any codes thrown when it happens?
No codes shown. Asked a car guy at work. And he thinks it’s the computer telling me the CVT is outside it’s optimal performance. and can’t handle the engine rpms to apply power to the wheel so it notifies the driver aka my dumb ass to lay off the throttle.
If it were a warning, I'd expect there to be some visual signal as well, even if it's just an LED flashing under the dash. I just did a quick search through the owner's manual and found that if the CVT is operating out of spec' , or trying to, then you will get a visual warning (! in a circle) but nothing about any audible warning.
I heard the same noise when I floored mine as well. Its a little high pitched, kinda like a tuning fork sound but it doesnt fade until you let off.I remember my whole set up before my "launch". I took it out of econ, left it in D and put it in snow mode. I love flooring it from below 30 mph.Just leave the stop light like a normal car and then as soon as you cross the intersection floor it! Always puts a smile on my face.
At first I thought it was turbo, but I think it's the high pressure fuel pump? I can produce this sound on demand full throttle.
Told you before, get a manual version 😄 😄 😄
