Hi! i think this was asked already,

What is the meaning/difference of MY and GK?

My Chassis:JE4LS514KZ703328
Engine: 4B40 GY357

can someone please enlighten me.

What I know and please correct me if I'm wrong:

GK1W is the Mitsubishi model designation for the Eclipse Cross 1.5l

4B40 is the engine model used in the Eclipse Cross

Chassis number is actually Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and is the number which carries all info regarding manufacture of your particular vehicle. J standard for Japanese manufacture. The last 3 or 4 digits are the unique sequential number for your car in the manufacturing year (i.e. yours was the 3,328th vehicle manufactured in that year). The intervening numbers and letters relate to manufacture options and can include the country for which the vehicle was manufactured. KZ denotes the Mitsubishi factory where the vehicle was assembled.

See the Wiki table in the attached pic. The actual information will vary depending on the geography where the vehicle was destined to be sold...
