Hi, I wanted to play music from my phone trough the speakers of the eclipse cross but the headunit won't detect my phone as a "playable device". The phone was connected to the USB port . But when I add some songs to a USB flash drive, the headunit detects the songs and plays them. Since it's a hassel to download new songs to a usb drive which also drops the quality of the songs, I wanted to play them direct from Spotify on my phone. I thought of a bluetooth adapter but they need an AUX port which the car doesn't have.
Can someone suggest me a solution for this becuse I really want to listen to music with the Rockford surrond sound.

The odd part is that there is no bluetooth option on the home screen. But there is an option as USB/ipod and AUX even though the AUX port is missing.
Is there a method to add the required bluetooth adapter or an AUX cable to the head unit ?

You should not need an adapter if you have a stock head unit. I have a 18 and Bluetooth works fine for Spotify as it also does with the apple usb cable. Unless you have the base model with I think it is a clarion stereo then I’m not sure.

This is the highest available model in Sri Lanka but it has both features from the base model and the international top model. I've seen headunits like the one in mine (which is not the one with a touch pad) have bluetooth and android auto support.
The mitsubishi dealer here might've configured the car without installing the bluetooth or aux adapters so that's why I thought of a possibility to add that.
