Direct supplier for accessories...

Hi to all,

There have been numerous posts regarding where to buy trim accessories in this forum. I have found the most reliable seller who has both eBay and AliExpress stores also has a direct purchase web site. The seller CarTrimHome consistently ships my orders in the shortest time. Of the CF items I ordered last week on eBay theirs arrived in 6 days from China. This has been the case with previous orders as well. The items are cheaper in nearly all cases when comparing like for like on eBay and AliExpress. They don't have a huge range (79 in total) but what they have is good value. They also don't need to factor in the commission cost of selling on eBay and AliExpress.

I was looking for this chrome trim item to accentuate the rear tail light from the rest of the red bodywork:

after seeing it on eBay where I wasn't happy to pay the price of the seller. They wanted AU$60 plus AU$60 shipping which is outrageous. I did a search and the one above came up. It is only $40 plus AU$28 for shipping via EMS which I have found to be the quickest method out of China. That's half the eBay price almost. They also had a few little extras like a CF cover for the USB and 12v power outlet in the console that I hadn't seen anywhere else for AU$13.52 and it's painted stainless steel:

I ordered four items in total and the EMS shipping was very reasonable. Have a look at the site when you have time. This link brings up all the EC related products:

If you intend too purchase make sure you change the currency applicable to you one by selecting it from the drop down menu on the upper left just above the site banner. Happy shopping...

Got the parts super fast. Shipped Friday afternoon out of China and I picked them up from the post office today, Tuesday, so a good time but I did pay a bit extra to get them EMS. Very happy with one item in particular which is the chrome surround for the tail lights. Being a red light on my Red Diamond background the styling cues of the light were lost in that sea of red. Other colours don't suffer the same problem and the styling shows out. I added this trim and I believe it accentuates the styling cue as Mitsubishi designers intended. I am very happy with the look. I wouldn't be surprised if they added these to a later EC version as a style upgrade.

Feedback on parts and accessories don't get better than this, that is, seeing first hand experienced along with pictures and feedback of the product.

Any concerns about fading?
If you're doing anything to prevent it, I'd be interested in knowing.

I don't envisage any issues with fading. Only time will tell but my previous Mitsi's with added exterior chrome haven't exhibited yellowing over time. I have encountered yellowing on cheaper parts like chrome tow ball covers which yellowed and then faded over around two years in the sun but not these add ons. These items have a heavy feel and the chrome is a strong bluish tinge and quite bright. The tow ball cover coating always looked and felt cheap. The EC, as with my previous cars, is garaged when not being driven which would also assist in keeping ageing effects to a minimum. Being affixed with 3M tape means they are easy to remove if the need arises.

So, I'm back online after a months holiday through Scandinavia, Germany, Russia and a visit to family in Slovakia. Whilst I was away the final bit of my exterior tweaks arrived. The upper rear window has a black ABS plastic trim which I think looks tacky. I replaced it with a chromed trim from this online seller. Originally it didn't ship and they apologised and sent it express while I was away. It arrived packed to a hardwood tray in a large cardboard box. I think it finishes the tail nicely...

My last bit of interior bling. Makes the switch pack stand out.

Oh and the pedals replace the cheap rubber/plastic ones supplied. My last 4 Mitsi's had metal pedals as standard and I liked the look so it was a no brainer. Brake pedal (slips on the metal backing) replaces the rubber pedal and the gas pedal just slips over the top of the plastic one...

Nice touch although I would rather cover it in a layer of tint film to create a black chrome finish. Just my personal take on it.

It's available in carbon fibre style as well...

I bit the bullet and bought a few hundred $$ of gear based on your recommendation.

They state items are posted once payment is confirmed.

My payment was confirmed 3 days ago and they still haven't sent the items. They gave me some BS that there is a Christmas rush. Now they have just given me a tracking number and said I can't track for a few days.

This mob don't seem to be any different than all the other Chinese sellers, they get your cash, generate a tracking number and then try to source your items and or get them drop shipped. Then if your lucky, after about 5 to 8 days of no tracking they might actually post the parcel.

The one good thing is that I paid with Pay Pal and if there is no tracking tomorrow I will start a dispute.
Sorry to hear that mate. I've had nothing but good outcomes with them. I did check recently and found that many of the parts I ordered were no longer available but it may just have been they were out of stock. From my last encounter I got sent a wrong part and they said keep it as a gift and they sent the right part within two weeks to my door at no extra cost. Mind you the incorrect part was a set of four covers for the door retaining strap that prevents the door from opening too far. It just covers the two screws holding the strap to the bodywork. Their price was just under $5 for a set of four. I've seen the same thing on AliExpress for an average of $18. I can't remember how soon they sent me tracking details after ordering.

I just checked a reply to them regarding two separate orders which they shipped as one and it was around 4 days after that I got the email with tracking details and a link to 17net for tracking. Didn't think much of it at the time...

Just went back to the web site and checked the order. First order was rolled into the second as a single shipment. Second order was placed 7/8/19 and shipped 9/8/19 via EMS. The first order was two days prior so 4 days from first order to complete shipment...

I paid an extra $35AU for EMS and wrongly assumed that they would post very quickly.

I say that as your post said they sent it on a Friday and you received it "Super quick" on the Tuesday.

Having said that, it seems that all these chinese sellers are much the same as far as service goes.

I believe that if it's not trackable, then it ain't been sent as all received parcels are scanned into the system as soon as the carrier receives them.

In no way having a shot, it is what it is.
Seems that Zarbs was lucky with his order.

They told me tracking would be available this morning, well there is still no tracking.

It's obvious they have not physically sent my order, so I have had to start a Pay Pal dispute.

Posting this to let others considering using this seller know that they may have issues.
Perhaps I should have ended my original post with YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary).
Pay Pal refunded me.

As I suspected they provided a tracking number, but, never sent anything.

Just this morning had a similar issue. This time ordered some EC stuff from Amazon but a third party supplier on the site. Paid a bit extra for expedited shipping and got a tracking number but for the last week it has never gone past "Tracking number issued" on the tracking site. Luckily this will be covered by the Amazon safe buying policy - I hope. The delivery window set buy the seller was 23-28 October and nothing today (28th). Amazon will look at the case once I've had to wait three days after the latest promised date which makes it the 31st. It will be interesting to see how it pans out as this was a test to see how Amazon third party seller purchases go. I have only ever purchased directly from Amazon and never from the third party stores.
I bought a robot vac from Amazon once for around $900AU, got a tracking number and that was it.

Had no idea it was a third party seller, didn't know at that time Amazon had them.

The thing never arrived as it was a scam, Amazon refunded me and cancelled the sellers account.

EDIT: What did you order?

There is this site, however, from Japan you will need deep pockets. https://global.rakuten.com/en/search/?k=eclipse cross mitsubishi
The shipment finally appeared on the tracking site and also on Australia Post app on my phone. 7 days from notification of shipment until the pick up from the seller. A joke really. They tried to say that it was the China Day celebrations that held things up but my order was at least 10 days after that event. They are just being disingenuous.

The order was for some floor mats that are capable of containing the dirt and crap and not letting it work its way off and under the mat to the carpet below. In my Pajero I had WeatherTech USA mats and in the Outlander I had 3D mats which did this but they don't make them for the EC. I'm sick of pulling the mats out to clean and finding crap underneath. Defeats the purpose of floor mats. The mats are available from a lot of sellers so I'll post some pics and my opinion once I have them. They are saying 10 days max to get them and a full refund if not here by then...
It sometimes pays to berate these sellers. They have refunded shipping cost and agreed to refund me 15% of the purchase price on top so it makes things somewhat more palatable. They're only new on Amazon so I suppose they can't afford the bad publicity a poor review would bring plus I would raise the issue with Amazon also.
Looking at Amazon Australia at EC bits and found plenty of them are for left hand drive vehicles.

I sent a suggestion to Amazon that selling left hand drive stuff on their Aussie site is like **** on a bull, pretty useless.
