Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum, and keeping a close eye on Mitsubishi's new crossover. I'm currently on the market for a new compact crossover and I'm pretty impressed by Mitsubishi's offering. It seems be a much cheaper alternative than that of its competitors, but I'm unsure if that resulted in a compromise of build quality. That being said, I'm looking to learn more about this car with you guys, and see what the early adopters have to say.

I have to agree it is a unique product, for me mainly from a design perspective and the fact it won't sell to the type of volume that Toyota or any of the bigger Japanese brands do.
Are you comparing the Eclipse Cross to anything else right now?
Its main rivals are certainly the Toyota Rav4 and Honda CR-V and I'm curious if it will be able to measure up to the high standards those models have already set. With such strong competition, I wonder if Mitsubishi has done enough with the Eclipse, to warrant a compelling reason to buy it instead.

its a sportier vehicle that gets more power and better drivetrain which if important to you is a big incentive already aside from the fact it looks the part too.
Have you seen the new Toyota Rav4 concept, the FT-AC? Its a much more bold styling design than what's typically found in this segment. Although Mitsubishi has done something new with the Eclipse, you'd be surprised at what's coming from its rivals.
