Hello,

I just bought my Eclipse Cross Instyle+ in Europe (Romania) and I intend to take the car with me in UAE for a long period of time. Does anyone know if the cars sold in Europe or other temperate climate zones are suitable for driving in Middle East countries? I'm thinking if engine cooling, AC and body thermal insulation performance is adapted for different climate zones or there is only one car design from this perspective, regardless the climate zones the cars are sold.
Please advice.

You should try speaking with a Mitsubishi dealer over there to see what they recommend because what ever they're told is coming right from HQ.
Some vehicles are nuanced and require slightly different things to get by. I bet a thicker engine oil might be one of them for a cooler running engine.

I don't see why the warmer climate would be a serious issue, but you may want to look into better brands of fluids (coolant, oil) and possibly some additives. New vehicles are tested in the harshest conditions including extreme heat and cold, but you may want to be preemptive to decrease the odds of a breakdown.
