Hi, any of you had this problem? After turning on foggies, either front or back, it cannot be turned off, with the engine running.

Nope, but I don't use them as much as I used to use them on my Outlander. If it's not a mechanical problem with the switch, or an electrical one with the wiring, you might need to get the ECM reflashed or updated. Probably a good idea to make an appointment with your dealer. We don't have these excellent warranties for nothing. ;)
No not having any problem. Just thinking how you operate the switch to turn them off at the moment. Think forward for on, and backwards for off, but will check on that to be sure. Don't use them very often.
Other than that it sounds like you have a faulty switch, and as Lunatic59 suggests, best to pop into your dealer and get it checked out.

That got me thinking, and been out to the car to check the switch function. As said 1 forward for front, 2 forward for rear, and then the same moving the switch backwards to switch them off in reverse order.
Wait, what?! These things have REAR fog lights?
Yup, ours (rear foggie) is on the right side, with me facing car bumper.

If I recall correctly, US does not require this where most the rest of the world does. So with that, manufacturers don't add it.

As for the rear light design of the EC, you get 2 white reverse instead of 1 white and 1 red. This red is as bright as the brake light.

In one of the other threads I posted photos of how they are here in Europe.

If interested, I can take some night photos showing the different looks.

I'd like to see that, too. I've never noticed anything unusual about the tail lights when I've been in Europe/UK, but then again I've never been driving. I travel either being driven by relatives, taxis or public transit. The latter being my preferred method of connecting points A & B.

Photos didnt turn out great but at least you get the idea how it looks.
1) Running lights
2) Running lights and Rear fog light
3) Running lights, Rear fog light and brake lights
4) Running lights, Rear fog light, brake lights and Reverse light
5) Rear fog light
6) Reverse light

My Pajero had rear fog lamp installed mainly because they build one model for the world as far as rear spare wheel mounts and the rear fog is mounted in the tyre cover. A few Japanese cars sold here have rear fogs but they are getting less and less. Not a requirement here in Australia. I do wish we had the full rear red running lights but our design rules don't permit a high mounted stop light to be mounted next to or near any other light cluster. Pity.
Well done mtgtnt , your pictures show every combination.
Mine is the same, apart for the rear fog and reverse light being on opposite sides, due to being right hand drive.
I Just own my Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross never have problems with the foglights, but i own the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport too i bought it in 2018 and my Pajero Sport have that foglights problems too if i turn on my foglight to turn it off i have to turn the headlights off too

I am having the same issue too. Did you managed to solve it?
Hi there I have Mitsubishi EC 2018 from Canada BC. I have the same issue like the front fog light when I turn it on its working but then When I tried to turn it off from the switch its not working. I wonder if do we have to pay to the dealer when They checked that one?
anyone manage to solve this problem? i have a 2019 and its not working now..
Mal som tento problém. Hmlové svetlá sa mi nepodarilo vypnúť. Zapnuté áno, vypnuté nie. A keď som vypol motor. Problém bol v balíku smeroviek - vypínanie hmlových svetiel. Vymenili smerovky a všetko je v poriadku.
