Has anyone else had issues with their front sensors? When I'm stopped in traffic, my front sensors go off at random interval and intensity. I'm not near another car nor an object, but they just go off. I've had other issues also with FCM which they advised was because of a bent bracket, even though there is no evidence of damage to the front of the car, I don't understand how a steel bracket behind the front bumper could be bent, and this so called the FCM to become unavailable. I have not been given any solution for the front sensor issue. I'm lost on what to do? Any advice from anyone would be very appreciated. I've got MY19 exceed model

I've had a few incidents where, when cresting a hill, the FCM would indicate there was a car in front of me when the road was clear. Once I had the FCM become unavailable because there was some ice on the front bumper. I also find the sensors in general are unpredictable when it rains. I'm not sure if the water itself is registering or if the rain makes the road too reflective and therefore confuses the cameras.

Personally, I think your dealer's "bent bracket" theory is a load of manure, unless you took delivery of the car with the bracket/sensor misaligned. If there is no visible damage, I am at a loss as to why they just don't fix it under the warranty.

I call BS on the bent bracket. The radar sensor for the FCM is mounted on the front support spar of the front end. If the mount was bent then it is a manufacturing issue (unless type have been in a collision). I have attached a pic from when I had my bumper off for the install of the nudge bar (sensor circled).

I often get BRAKE flash on my display when I’m stationary at lights or just driving with nothing in front of me to Brake from.
Yes, I get the odd display as well. Usually when something large and bright comes into the field of view of the camera system. I too just ignore it now. I've not had the car apply the brakes in these instances but it can be worrisome.

I got the BRAKE warning today. I was driving along on a rural road and a joker in front of me decided to stop and check their GPS right in the middle of the road. Glad i got that warning.

Hi Nae! I own an EC 2020 and I have the same damn problem. Almost every time when stopped in traffic, usually at red lights, the front parking sensors go off randomly, most the right part and it's very annoying. I wish there was a way to fix this. For me, the only way it worked was that every time this problem occurred I would just press the P sensor button, next to the steering wheel and turn off the sensors while in Drive. If anyone finds an actual solution to this problem, please hit me up!

I have the same problem and inquired with my dealer, was advised the if your behind another car with rear sensors they interfere with them. Whether this is true I have no idea but I just put up with it them going off. I have other issues with rain and light sensors trying to get sorted out with the dealer......
