Could someone please confirm whether the MEC has a Fuel Filter?

From what I can see the 2WD has a filter built into the fuel pump in the tank:

The 4WD (AWD) models have a separate filter in addition to the fuel pump unit to cater for the tank design change to allow for the drive shaft as shown below:

Thanks for the detailed explanation, mine's a 2WD & I'm glad to know it's got one.

BTW, how often do you pump gas? I wait till the warning light comes on and then fill up full tank, do you think this is a good practice? As per the manual, the warning's at 8 Liters remaining out of 63. Fuel quality isn't the best where I'm from.

Is there just one fuel pump in the tank for both the port injection and the direct injection?

Yes. The operate from the same fuel supply up until the engine bay
