When plugged in to Android Auto and listening to music at a comfortable volume. If I use Google Assistant and ask a question like, what's the weather today. The volume of the reply is deafening, it's about as high as it could be.

I have searched settings in Android Auto etc and can't find a volume setting.

A search of the web indicates that the problem is universal and has been around for quite sometime.

Anyone else with this issue and did you manage to fix it?

Hi,
My volume was really low, the way I increased it was to adjust the volume using the vol keys on the display unit or steering wheel, while the Google Assistant is speaking. It takes a few times to catch it at the right time, but worked for me.
Seems to work the other way too.
