My auto Hill start seems to be the only other thing affected. I haven't tried a to disconnect the battery again, how long would I leave it disconnected? I have booked it into mitsubishi to get it checked out but if its an easy fix I'd rather do it myself.
I appreciate your reply, thanks man 👍
Ok... I think u need to do a battery disconnect..... disconnect battery for 15mins, connect battery again then power up system (not start) wait until all check lights on dash gauge either go off or settle (some check lights will remain because it can only be check when engine on) .... then start engine and let it sit for atleast 15mins idling ..
Make sure AC isn't turn on, do not turn steering nor operate any functions like windows, wiper blade etc. ...
Likely rpm will move irratic especially at cold start.... let it work out its parameters.... after 15 mins try operate the HUD, and try trigger hill start.
When battery is disconnect n reconnected system carry out test... if not given chance to complete test n written protocol for detected hardwares/units then ETACS ecu will behahave as if these parts doesn't exist/equip and will not send power to unit to function.
