Hello everyone,

We picked up our 2018 EC SE last Tuesday, Oct. 27. I've been lurking on the forum for a couple of weeks, knowing eventually we would own an EC. It's good to be here.

We've only driven our Diamond White Pearl SE on shorter trips around town for now, but so far we love it. It's certainly different than all the Hyundai, Honda, and domestic CUVs on the road, and I love the styling inside and out. It's our first Mitsubishi and we're looking forward to many years of enjoyable and reliable transportation.

I hope to be able to learn lots and contribute where I can.

Here's a suitable autumn photo, after a driveway wash but prior to this afternoon's waxing:

Happy motoring!

Hi Gary, Welcome to the forums. Enjoy your new(ish) car. How many miles on it?

Something looks a little different about the front end on your 2018 than on my 2019 SEL, but I can't put my finger on it.

Actually, that's not a big black circle. I know the photo makes it look like that, but we have no front license plate requirement in Nova Scotia. That's just the piano black front-end treatments blending together in that questionable light. The hood protector/bug deflector is a Mitsubishi part, and it came with the EC (along with the window shades/deflectors/whatever they're called courtesy of the previous owner.

It's just around 52,500 kms on the clock right now. It's very clean, well looked-after and runs like a top.

It looks a lot like mine, but maybe it's the angle that makes the front end look a little squarer.

If only. I swear if they could get away with it, they would require us to have plates on the sides of our vehicles here too. It's insane. You get fined if your plate falls off and you have no way of reattaching it at that moment and you stick it in the window.

Welcome to the Forum Gary, and hope you enjoy it and find it to be friendly, helpful and interesting.
Your car looks great, and I wish you many happy miles with it.
A good few years ago now, we stayed with my wife's Aunt and Uncle on the outskirts of Pugwash, their house and garden area swept down the Northumberland Straight shoreline. We also had visits to their daughter in Dartmouth and a trip into Halifax.
We had a great time there and enjoyed our time in Canada very much indeed.

Heey! I almost got a Diamond White... something else from NS. Long story. Not a happy one though. Shoddy dealership dealings.
WTTC.

Happy (controlled) slipping and sliding in the snow this season. Oh you'll love how the S-AWC handles the snow in this one :)
