Hello All,
I joined this forum so I can get some information regarding this loud ding dong sound that comes up occasionally on my new 2023 Eclipse cross. I cannot figure out how to totally disable it and also I do not know what triggers it. I have decided to take it back to the dealers but I am just leaving this message on this forum to ascertain more information

Hello and welcome.

Most likely navigation system warning about red light cameras or similar. Discussed in this thread: Extremely Loud Ding

Could also be your lane departure warning or AEB. Have you noticed any common situations when it dings? Cars parked on curves in the road will sometimes cause the braking notice for example; or the nav system is typically when approaching/entering intersections. Lane departure is easy to replicate on an empty street.

Also when you favorite a song on Sirius it “dings” when the song is on again. Probably not your problem but it is another noise.

Red light camera warning from the Tom Tom, you can turn it off in the settings.

A friend of mine turned all the way down the navigation volume so I haven't hear it from them, however my radio always dumbs out in the locations that it usually goes off.
