I have been a member of AAA in the U.S. as long as I've been driving. I've only needed it a few times, but their response has always been better than the vehicle supplied roadside assistance. I let my Mitsubishi assistance expire, but it would depend on what your alternatives were.

Has anybody had cause to use the emergency button if so what was the reponse like. Is it worth keeping the service after the free subscription ends.
