First debuted at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the new compact SUV from Mitsubishi has all the sharp angles in all the right places.
A recently leaked brochure may be for the Japan spec Eclipse Cross, but global buyers can expect to see similar features and powertrains in their home country.
As seen in the photo above, a new red exterior paint will be made available and it will undoubtedly be applied vie a new paint process which should result in a finish with high-color saturation. Sitting between the Outlander Sport and standard Outlander, the Eclipse Cross measures in at 4,405 mm long, 1,805 mm tall and 1,685 mm wide with a 2,670 mm wheelbase.
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross should also come with LED lights, though we do not know if they’ll be in the front or back and if it’ll come as standard.
What isn’t listed in the brochure leak are the available engines, but Mitsubishi has already announced those and buyers will have a choice between a 1.5-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine paired with a CVT and a 2.2-litre turbodiesel mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Both options will be fitted with standard AWD, Mitsubishi's Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) and Active Yaw Control (AYC).
We should see an English brochure soon enough as the Eclipse Cross is expected to hit most markets by 2018.
