That's the transmission oil pan, this contains the CVT fluid, and it's attached to the transfer case aswell which has gear oil in it.

What is the consistency and color of the leaking oil? Does it smell bad? Where exactly is it leaking from?

If it's motor oil, then it's likely leaking from above there somewhere and dripping over.

I'm thinking it's more likely CVT fluid or gear oil

I have similar issue.. But it’s very very less. Like a drop or so for a week. Did anyone tried additives like Bars Leak’s stop leak? Is it safe to try in my scenario?

No please do not add stop leak product of any type to any part of your vehicle please, if it's a small drip try tightening the drain plug bolt
