Rally recce mud removed

Sorry I don't have photos, but I just ran our EC through the spray wash today to get rid of some of the mud from yesterday's rally recce here in Nova Scotia.

We're trialing a new timing/scoring system and I designed a short rally using both tarmac and gravel roads. We've had a thaw here over the past few days and the gravel roads were more mud than anything else. I couldn't live with it so I ran it through the wash this afternoon.

More recces to follow so I'm sure we'll have another dirty EC to contend with. I promise photos the next time.

BTW, the EC is amazing on gravel/mud/slush at speed. Very impressed with the stability and handling.

We don't have any rally courses where we live but we have a lot of gravel roads that are isolated. The wife and I thoroughly tested gravel mode at some exciting speeds and had a blast. The EC is much more at home on gravel than tarmac.

I have no videos or current links yet, but stand by. We did another recce today and once the final test is over (testing a new timing and scoring system for NAVEX rallies), I'll have a link which you can access.

Thanks for your interest and check out your local sports car clubs (especially the SCCA in your area) for navigation rallies. They are a ton of fun, not hard on equipment, low speed, and can be done by any two-person team in any vehicle. The EC is a perfect year-round NAVEX vehicle, and Mitsubishi has a long and successful rally heritage. Give it a try!
