6000k leds. Want to try and mount some in the empty outside headlight housing. Anyone else tried?

Literal night and day difference between the bulbs. How much of a pain was it getting into the housing?

Yeah. Should have gone with a higher output/luems but for the price they're not bad

This is exactly what I am looking for. Looks perfect, well done! Could you tell me what type of bulbs you used? Headlights are dual beam LEDs, right?

You know what, kudos for doing this. I'm glad you're loving your LED beams. Because in some way, I really wish this vehicle we got didn't come with LED headlights from the factory.

Because they're truly **** if you're used to HIDs.

Yeah, yeah - negative Nancy I am. But I find it hard comparing even the factory 4000Ks from, say, an Outlander or Sport (or the Evos for that matter) to this one.
LEDs tend to have decent beam projection up to a very limited distance, but very weak throw beyond what's immediately in front of you. If I'm looking for my headlights to illuminate and define what's beyond 25 meters, that detail is completely lost due to beam dispersion. Even putting high beams on tells me there are vehicles at a distance - but god forbid there's a car parked on the shoulder... or an animal, or whatnot.

And what sucks with this particular headlight is that you can't replace the bulbs. At least, I don't think you can

I'm really glad you like yours. I wish I could replace what's in ours.

Yeah, they’re definitely not as bright as HIDs! They make conversion kits to HID but they’re pricey. I replaced the fog lights and they’re super bright, which, I guess makeup for the lower headlight output.
