Has anyone noticed the sensors going off while driving in the rain (without any obstacles in the way)?

This happened a few times for me...just wondering whether it's a common issue or something else altogether...like paranormal activity 😱

Yeah, I get that quite frequently. More often the glare from the wet roads confuses the lane drift sensors (which uses the forward facing camera for this) and pops up the warning when I'm right in the center. I also get the brake warning at the bottom of a hill or when rounding a curve. I'd rather get the warning when I don't need it than miss one when I do.

There is a software update available from your dealer for this problem
Hmmm, I do believe I am on the latest version. Is there a TSB about it?
