Does anyone know if the EC has pre drilled holes for the tow hitch install? Or does it require drilling? I’d love to get the hitch and install it.

Fitting a Genuine accessory tow hitch requires no drilling even for the wiring
Oh wow that’s amazing! Thanks for the response!

Just bought this from Amazon and yet to install it....instruction seems to be a direct fit with no drilling.Amazon.com

Awesome! Would you mind updating me when installed to confirm? I may buy this one then. Thank you!

surely will!
I can confirm there are factory holes to mount a hitch receiver. Strangely enough, the towing electrical harness connector is right by the battery --- in the engine bay.
Several aftermarket options available. (e.g., Curt)

That Curt Hitch is a direct fit, no need to take off the rear bumper...just those two rubber support for the muffler and the driver rear wheel well cover just to gain access on the left side.......Hitch install would’ve been easier if I have a 3rd/4th hand and if not for that one last stubborn 17mm that won’t bolt on to the chassis without a fight for more than 1 hour.....make sure to bolt that 17mm first to get all those chassis paint coatings to have proper thread fitting first before actual install.

I had a towing hitch installed by "my" maintenenance garage , because it is quite complicated wiring due to the electronic system. It is a "Brink" (Dutch make) hitch, not an original Mitsubishi, but still quite expensive: €850,-

Thanks for the info! I’m gonna order this I believe.
