I have just taken delivery of a 2022 EC PHEV Exceed in Australia. If possible, I would like to install my simple UHF radio when we travel in remote areas. So far I haven’t done any serious looking around the firewall to find a path for the antenna cable. I have looked at the thread from 2019 that talks about taking wiring through a grommet that passes a tube to the rear rear window washer. In that case, only the wire was passed through and subsequently terminated. I don’t want to cut the shield termination off the antenna cable.
To provide a head start, can anyone provide any tips on getting the antenna lead through/past the firewall in my model EC?
